Unity Bank Presents $6,400 to Family Promise from Cruisin’ Bob’s Classic Car Show Proceeds

CLINTON, NJ | January 2024 - Unity Bank recently presented $6,400 to Family Promise of
Hunterdon County and Family Promise of Warren County through the 17th Annual Cruisin’ Bob’s
Classic Car Show held at the bank’s Clinton headquarters in October. Unity Bank donates all
proceeds from the annual car show to the non-profits, in addition to donating volunteer time to
coordinate the event.

President & CEO James A. Hughes said, “For the past 17 years, the car show has been a fantastic
platform to champion the crucial work of Family Promise. In the face of housing and hunger
challenges, Family Promise continues to provide essential services to the community. The ongoing
success of the car show is a testament to the support from the community, car owners, sponsors,
and Unity’s committed employee volunteers.”

Classic car enthusiasts competed in various categories, with winners including Lou Venosa, Doug
Lowrie, Marc Cohon, William Nase, Permelia McCain, Robert Schwartz, Gregory J. Barbati, Lexie
Dahms, Dennis Linkroum, and others. Each category showcased unique and impressive vehicles,
adding to the overall excitement of the event.

Family Promise of Hunterdon County and Family Promise of Warren County work towards
overcoming and preventing homelessness through their Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN).
This network involves congregations and volunteers providing shelter, meals, and companionship to
families in need. The organizations also offer comprehensive case management, licensed
counseling services, and a donation program.
